Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator (Core DBA) to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing large-scale banking environments, with expertise in Oracle RAC, Red Hat Linux, and WebLogic Server.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database systems in mission-critical environments
Perform database tuning, troubleshooting, patching, and upgrades
Administer Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery
Monitor system performance and implement performance improvements
Ensure database security, backup, and recovery policies are in place
Work closely with application teams and infrastructure to resolve issues and implement solutions
Manage WebLogic environments supporting core banking applications
Provide support during audits and compliance reviews
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Core DBA
Experience in banking or financial institutions is mandatory
Strong expertise in:
Oracle RAC
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
WebLogic Application Server
Oracle Backup & Recovery using RMAN
Experience with high availability setups and disaster recovery solutions
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
Preferred Certifications:
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Engineer (RHCE)
ITIL Foundation (optional)
